You’ve made it through over-reaction Monday, and now there’s some renewed hope for your team as Week 2 draws closer. Sure, that close loss last week was a tough one, but your team will bounce back…they looked resilient. The Falcons finished the game with 2 TDs, the Racial Slurs made it a game on the road against a divisional rival, and the Bills came back from nothingness.
The Texans just left Brees too much time on the clock. That’s a Week 1 mistake. They’ll get better.
The Steelers. They have to get better, right? Right???
Sigh, and then on the flipside, other teams are going to come down to earth. Raise your hand if think Lamar Jackson has another game like that this season. And the Titans took advantage of a super-cocky Browns team. We’ve seen the Titans. The next game you think they’re going to win, they’ll get blown out by 30 and Mariota will be on IR.
But for now, hope springs eternal.
Unless you’re the Carolina Panthers, and you’re too scared to run Cam for half a yard with the game on the line.
Maybe Norv Turner really does have Christian McCaffrey on his fantasy team.
